Brimfield & Little Hereford Bowling Club

MEMBERSHIP

  • Membership of the Club shall be open to application regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs. Anyone interested in the sport of outdoor flat green bowls, on applying for membership, shall be proposed, and seconded, by a member and shall submit a membership application form and the relevant subscription fee.
  • All questions of eligibility to join the Club shall be determined by the Executive Committee.
  • The Subscriptions of individual members due by end February each year shall be recommended by the Executive Committee for approval at an Annual General Meeting.
  • There shall be the following categories of membership with power to vote at all relevant meetings of the Club as indicated hereunder.
  • A FULL MEMBER – being a person who, at the date of election, shall have attained the age of 25 years or above.
  • A JUNIOR MEMBER – being a person who, at the date of election, shall have attained the age of 18 to 24.
  • A YOUTH MEMBER – being a person who, at the date of election, is under the age of eighteen and shall have no vote. Such a member shall be one who at the commencement of the subscription year joins the Club other than as a full member or a family member.
  • AN HONORARY/LIFE MEMBER 
  • A SOCIAL MEMBER
  • The Club Committee may refuse membership or remove it, only for good cause such as conduct likely to bring the Club or sport into disrepute.  Appeal against refusal or removal may be made to the members. 
  • If consideration of removal of membership is as a result of a disciplinary issue, the procedure to be adopted shall be that as set out in 6 of the Constitution: ‘Procedures shall be as detailed in Bowls England Regulation 9. (See Bowls England Website for full regulations’

1st March 2025 – 28th February 2026

Membership includes £10.00 subscription to the Sports Club and for Playing Members, affiliation to County and Bowls England

SOCIAL MEMBER                                      £15  

NEW MEMBER (no previous experience)        3 Sessions free then 50% of annual fee*  for 1st season

NEW MEMBER (previous experience)     £75*

*If you are joining mid-way through a season there may be an entitlement to a reduction in the current year’s subscription, subject to Committee approval. The Membership will still include £10.00 subscription to the Sports Club and Affiliation Fees.
